Im not sure if I ever will be able to run 5km, but I will keep trying - and this app helps me immensely to do so!

App helps keep me on track. Never thought Id look forward to running, but this app provides motivation I needed to keep going.
Love this app. Only wish this thing would track miles.
This app is so helpful and effective.
Great app for us couch potatoes......
Great pacer coach towards a 5k. Very easy to use. Get to hear my tunes in the app. Encouraging voice prompts. Highly recommend.
I have just finished week 3 and it is a good program when it lets you know when to walk. There have been a few workouts that it didn’t tell me to walk so I ended up running longer. Also, you cannot view this under glances on the Apple Watch. You actually have to find the app and it doesn’t stay on your watch during the workout. No need to purchase this version for the Apple watch. Knowing what I know about this app now, I would probably look into other 5k apps compatible with Apple watch.
Im fat, asthmatic, and turning 40. When I was young I was in shape, I could run a mile in under seven minutes. Timing, being lazy, and a desk job made running a race seem impossible. I realized that was in my head. This app is not a quick fix, I didnt get fat overnight and Im not going to lose it overnight. But I ran my 5K, and Im working on my next one. If youre looking for a good way to get started, I wholeheartedly recommend this app.
Im tired of hearing people whine "I cant run!" "Im too fat!" Well sitting on your couch making excuses isnt gonna keep you from getting type 2 diabetes and having your life cut short. My words may not be gentle but Im blunt because I care about every obese person out there, because I was one. What is gentle is this awesome C25k app. Just start slow and do not give up. Pick your days and stick to them. If it is cold, you get cold. If it rains, you get wet. Just dont quit or make excuses for yourself. When it comes to your health, tomorrow may be to late to turn things around. Be honest with yourself. Only you can help you and you are absolutely worth it.
The interface is pretty nice, but buggy. Doesnt always notify correctly especially if you use Spotify for music
With this app, I have started running again at 50 years old. I was getting squishy in the middle and a bit stiff in my joints after not exercising for over a year. I needed to do something. This app got me going a little at a time. Its just what I needed!
You get up and go!
There is a free, ad-supported iPhone-only version, and it works fine. I bought this version specifically for the added Apple Watch support, and I was sorely disappointed! The Watch app is the worst I have ever seen: 1) It is not interactive, just a display of your times. And each time you look at it, it takes a second to sync and actually start showing the current times. 2) It does not even tap you on the wrist or make a sound when it is time to switch between walking and jogging! This was the one thing I was hoping for! 3) The times are displayed far too small to read while jogging, and the background is cluttered with graphics that make it even harder to read. This is a watch! Simplicity/readability at a glance is key! 4) The watch app CONSTANTLY crashes! Every time I lift my wrist, Im thrown back into the Apple workout app (which I am running in the background), and I have to re-launch the C25K app. Finally, to add insult to injury, Im still seeing (some) ads on the iPhone app, and I had to manually move my progress over from the free app. Dont waste your money on this - Im giving it 2 stars only because it doesnt work any worse than the free version, i.e. it helps me with my workouts.
This has been a great motivator and pacer. Great concept with the interval running and walking. Even my dog is getting used to it and looking forward to it every time. Im only in week 2 but Im confident that Ill see this through to the end.
Still a good product. Could use better /easier integration to other apps like Nike and iTunes. Trying to use both cause issues with notification
The app is skipping intervals during my workouts its confusing.
Motivating app to help me work to lose 135 pounds.
Just do it, it gonna change your life
I havent exercised since 2011 - and that was bc my Ob put me on complete bed rest for the last 6 months of my pregnancy. After that and recovery of c-section- starting to exercise coming from 0 is sooooooooo intimating. Bought this app- took a deep breath and walked onto indoor track at the Y. I couldnt be happier. What helps me- not a treadmill (changing walking/running is frustrating) , inside so I can listen to noise cancelling headphones, and a Spotify playlist which integrates perfect. I also put something else on my phone screen so I cant look at my progress- makes it seem so much faster and it tells when to walk/run and when Im 1/2 way. If I can- anyone can trust me.
Great app! Certainly worth the money. Great motivator when trying to get back into the game!
