Perfect pace to casually kick start a fitness regimen.

Does what it says

Great if youre are too intimidated to get started. You only have to jog for a minute to ease into it.

Great start!!

This is the perfect program to start running. Fun workouts that link perfectly to your favorite music. Will do 10K after 5K

Great motivator

I love this app. If youre looking for an app to motivate you this is the one to buy. Buy this version, it works great and the developers have done a great job they deserve the three dollars.

Running

Love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

Not nearly as good as it could be

I was hoping for a robust Apple watch app, but it doesnt do anything except track time. iPhone app is super buggy (lots of error messages when using certain features), and it doesnt play as well with MyFitnessPal as I had hoped. Save your money and get the free version. There is no value add here other than ad removal.

Not a runner, but doing it :)

Just what I need. I can listen to my music or audio books. The app pushes me. Its only three days a week.

Great app!

Great app and motivator for beginners! As the name implies, "Couch" to 5K, it literally takes you from sedentary couch potato to being able to run a 5K. My only issue is that to cover the distance in the workouts you need to be at a 6mph pace which is hard for many beginner runners so it will take a bit longer to actually cover 5K distance.

No More Couch Potato!

I LOVE this app! I have always said (much to the chagrin of my Co-workers) that if they ever saw me running, theyd better run too, because someone or something was chasing me. I literally downloaded it, and didnt even bring myself to open it, for over two months. Finally - I decided to give it a try. It is SO EASY to follow, you start with a brisk 5-minute warmup walk, then alternate running/jogging and walking. Just about the time you think you cant run one more step, "bing" the prompt to begin walking comes on. At the end of the program is a "cool down" walk. Gradually, the walking times decrease, and the running times increase, so at the end of the 8-week program, you are conditioned and ready for a 5k. I got really sick, and had to stop at about the 4-week mark, and just now started back up again. I can not tell you how much I actually MISSED RUNNING!! Me!! I have signed up for my first 5k run, in September, so I intend to go through this program twice, in preparation. At least one good friend, as well as my youngest daughter have downloaded it, and are signed up to run with me! I have also downloaded the 5kto10k app and the 13.1 and 26.2 are next. My goal is to continue on with these fantastic programs and run the Boston Marathon within the next 7 years. Thank you, Zen Labs. You have helped me to get moving again and reclaim my oomph. You just may have saved my life!

Miserable user experience

App keeps interrupting the runs with questions about music or alerts or other settings. Run will pause or turn-off with no warning. When you figure out something is ring and pull the phone out to look, it is difficult to navigate back to the workout. Very frustrating.

No good. Doesnt track progress

This app doesnt keep track of your progress. I dont know how far fast or pace that I ran yesterday or calories burned for that matter. Id recommend another. This is too basic. I got it for Apple Watch compatibility but Im going back to previous that tracks and doesnt have Apple Watch unless I find another. Over all crap.

No more excuses

Love this app.

years of use!

I started using c25k several years back and it got me through my first ever continuous mile run in my late 30s. Needless to say I was the opposite of athletic until then. It then got me through my first 5k ever. The colderbolder. Thats right a 5k in the dead of winter a mile high. Ive used it off and on since then through better fitness and worse. I cant imagine a better trainer for someone that really wants to get of the couch and start running.

Love it!

This is a great app for beginning runners or just people wanting to ease into exercise.
